The Beginning
RELIC began with a simple idea from Alexander’s father, Tony Siragusa. After years of racing, Alexander had a collection of old race suits he couldn’t bring himself to part with. Tony suggested turning them into duffle bags—giving the suits a new purpose while preserving what made them meaningful.
With a background in racing and a passion for design and craftsmanship, Alexander took the idea and ran with it, exploring how far it could go. What started with his own race suits became RELIC: transforming pieces from the sport into functional, handcrafted goods made to carry their story forward.
-
Every RELIC piece begins with something that already has a history. We work with the original sportswear, preserving its materials, details, wear, and imperfections as part of the finished piece.
-
Each piece is individually designed and handcrafted, combining the original material with quality leather, hardware, and finishes. No two pieces are made exactly the same.
-
RELIC was created from a shared love of sport, design, and craftsmanship. What began with the idea of giving old race suits a new purpose has grown into a way of keeping the pieces connected to the sport in use.
-
RELIC is a family-owned business built from an idea between a father and son and miss baby. That same personal approach remains part of every piece we make.
Meet the Designer
Alexander James Siragusa is the designer and maker behind RELIC. With a longtime interest in fashion and design, he began sewing in 2023 after getting his first sewing machine. What started as curiosity quickly became a way to challenge himself—experimenting with materials, learning new techniques, and constantly pushing himself to make something new. That curiosity eventually became an important part of what RELIC is today.
Internship Opportunity
We’re always interested in meeting people with a passion for design, craftsmanship, fashion, and sport. If you’re interested in interning with RELIC, tell us a little about yourself and share your work. We’d love to see what you create.
