Welcome to RELIC by AJS. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products and services from AJS (“AJS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

AJS creates custom, made-to-order pieces using sports uniforms and other materials provided by our customers.

Because every original uniform is unique, variations in material, color, wear, markings, construction, placement, and finished appearance are expected. Product photographs shown on our website are representative of our designs and craftsmanship but do not guarantee that a finished custom piece will be identical to the product pictured.

We preserve original characteristics of the materials whenever possible, including signs of wear, markings, imperfections, patches, graphics, stitching, and other details.

CUSTOMER-PROVIDED UNIFORMS & MATERIALS

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to provide any uniforms, garments, materials, logos, names, numbers, patches, graphics, or other elements submitted to AJS for use in a custom piece.

Customers should provide accurate instructions regarding preferred details, placement requests, measurements, specifications, and other relevant information before production begins.

While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate customer preferences, final placement and construction may vary depending on the dimensions, condition, construction, and usable material available from the original uniform.

Unless otherwise specified for a particular product or order, the purchase price includes the use of one sports uniform. Each additional sports uniform incorporated into the same piece is subject to an additional $150 fee.

During production, portions of the original uniform may remain unused. Small scraps and excess material are generally discarded. Larger or otherwise usable remaining materials may be retained by AJS and repurposed for future products, samples, development, or other creative uses. Customers who would like the remaining usable portions of their uniform returned should notify us before production begins. Additional shipping costs may apply.

CONDITION OF CUSTOMER-PROVIDED ITEMS

Customers are responsible for the condition of any uniform or material before it is received by AJS. AJS is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring while an item is being shipped to us.

Once received, we will evaluate the material for its suitability for the requested piece.

If we determine that a submitted item cannot reasonably be used for the requested product, we will contact the customer to discuss available alternatives. If no suitable option is available and the item must be returned, the customer is responsible for applicable return shipping costs.

ALTERATION OF ORIGINAL MATERIALS

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that the creation of a RELIC piece requires the original uniform or garment to be cut, altered, deconstructed, sewn, and permanently transformed. This process is irreversible. Once production has begun, the original uniform generally cannot be restored to its previous condition.

PRODUCTION TIME

All AJS pieces are made to order.

Unless otherwise stated, orders are estimated to ship approximately four (4) weeks after the customer's sports uniform is received by AJS.

Production times are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays may occur due to the complexity of a custom piece, material condition, customer-requested changes, shipping delays, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

SHIPPING

Customers are responsible for shipping their sports uniform(s) or other materials to RELIC.

Standard shipping of the completed piece from RELIC back to the customer is not included in the purchase price unless otherwise stated.

Once the product is complete the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. these costs are not included in the price of the product.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. AJS is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional expenses resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information supplied by the customer.

FINAL SALES, RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Because AJS products are individually created from customer-provided materials and made according to customer specifications, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom or made-to-order products.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and providing all relevant measurements, specifications, preferred details, placement requests, and other instructions before production begins.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Once an order has been confirmed and production has begun, changes may not be possible.

Requested changes that require additional design work, materials, labor, reconstruction, or modifications outside the original scope may be subject to additional charges.

Because each piece is made specifically for the customer and may require irreversible alteration of customer-provided materials, orders may not be canceled once production has begun.

HANDCRAFTED VARIATIONS

AJS products are individually handcrafted. Minor variations in stitching, construction, dimensions, material placement, hardware, color, texture, and other characteristics are inherent to the handmade process and are not considered defects.

Existing wear, discoloration, marks, imperfections, or other characteristics originating from the customer's uniform or materials are also not considered product defects.

PRODUCT IMAGES

Images displayed on this website are intended to represent the design, proportions, construction, and general appearance of AJS products.

Because each product is created from unique customer-provided materials, the finished piece will vary from examples shown online. Colors may also appear differently depending on lighting, photography, displays, and device settings.

CUSTOMER APPROVAL & INFORMATION

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all information submitted with an inquiry or order is accurate and complete.

AJS may rely on measurements, specifications, photographs, placement preferences, and other instructions supplied by the customer when creating a piece.

If information necessary to begin or complete production is missing, we may contact the customer and production may be delayed until the required information is received.

PRICING & PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

AJS reserves the right to correct pricing errors and to change prices for future orders at any time. Changes to website pricing will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where otherwise agreed with the customer.

Additional work, materials, uniforms, modifications, or requests outside the original scope of an order may result in additional charges, which will be communicated before the additional work is performed.

DOCUMENTATION & MARKETING

AJS may photograph, film, or otherwise document the design and production process, including customer-provided uniforms, materials, works in progress, and completed pieces. This content may be used for our portfolio, website, social media, advertising, marketing, and other promotional purposes.

If you prefer that your project not be photographed, documented, or used for promotional purposes, please notify us in writing before production begins.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the RELIC name, RELIC by AJS branding, website design, original photographs, graphics, written content, product designs, and other original content appearing on this website are owned by or licensed to AJS and may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, or commercially used without permission.

Any third-party names, logos, trademarks, graphics, or other identifying elements appearing on customer-provided uniforms remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on a custom piece does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or ownership by RELIC by AJS.

WEBSITE USE

You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems, or use website content for unlawful purposes.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or its offerings without notice.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

AJS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or the purchase or use of our products.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website is hosted by Squarespace and may use third-party services for website hosting, payment processing, communications, shipping, analytics, and other business functions.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of those providers.
